Supreme Garage Doors’ operating hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm
FOR ALL WORK UNDERTAKEN BY SUPREME GARAGE DOORS:
1. Due date for payment is 24 hours after job is completed.
2. All work is warrantied:
– Repair work is warrantied for 30 days
– Opener warranties are as per manufacturers terms
– Torsion springs are warrantied for 3 years against breakage
3. Cancellations:
– If a customer cancels an agreed job with less than 4 business hours notice, the customer will be charged a discounted pro-rata rate of the original job value, sufficient to compensate Supreme Garage Doors for:
– Cost of specially ordered items.
– Income lost due to the cancellation.
IMPORTANT NOTES REGARDING NEW GARAGE DOORS
1. Tilt Doors: All tilt doors are manufactured with a slim white frame around the outside edge, regardless of main door colour, unless upgrading to Sectional “Silvain” style.
Tilt doors are made to suit opening sizes with approx 10-12mm gaps along vertical sides and across the bottom. Gap at top is 25-35mm depending on ceiling clearance.
Sectional Doors: All sectional doors are manufactured with an embossed grain finish, unless specifically requested otherwise by the customer.
2. Payment of deposit is taken as acceptance of all conditions outlined in this document.
3. Manufactured goods can be held by Supreme Garage Doors for up to 30 days with no cost to the customer, after which a storage fee of $55.00 per week will be charged. If no arrangement has been made to complete installation or delivery after 60 days then the customer will forfeit ownership of the goods and the goods will be returned to stock.
4. Goods are covered by manufacturers warranty.
5. An optional 1 year extended warranty is available on a new garage door (which does not include the opener or existing components) on the condition that a new garage door is serviced one year after installation at normal service fee rates.
6. Approximate delivery date is estimated as accurately as possible and in good faith but is not guaranteed, as final delivery date is subject to manufacturing processes and issues.
7. All reasonable care will be taken by Supreme Garage Doors during the installation but no liability shall attach to Supreme Garage Doors for any accidental damage occasioned to electrical wiring, plumbing, masonry or painted/rendered surfaces.
8. Supreme Garage Doors reserves the right to touch up any minor factory scuffs/marks on a new door.
9. Supreme Garage Doors will not be held liable for damage resulting from poor quality or insufficient fixings supplied by the Customer.
10. For the installation to take place at the appointed time, the following is required:
– Clear access to garage at the appointed time
– All noggins and fixings to be correct
– Power available on site
– The garage to be clear of all personal items, building materials and tradespeople
– A vacant car park to be available directly in front of the garage.
If installation cannot be undertaken or completed due to any of these conditions not being met, a charge of $200.00 will apply to either:
– Wait on site (up to 1 hour) to rectify the issue
– Leave the site and return at a future date to complete the installation. In this instance the door(s) may be required to be left on site. Supreme Garage Doors will not be liable for any damage to the garage door(s) in this instance. The door(s) will then be invoiced for the full amount less a reasonable installation charge.
11. APPOINMENT CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULES
Due to the logistic and time issues of a door installation, 2 FULL DAYS NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OR RESCHUDULE MUST BE PROVIDED. If customer provides less than 2 full days notice, then the customer will be charged the full installation charge as outlined on the quote.
12. PAYMENT TERMS
Final payment is due on the day of installation.
In some instances, and at the discretion of Supreme Garage Doors, 7 day payment terms may be provided.
Payments not received within 7 days will incur a 10% late payment fee.
Unpaid invoices (where applicable) will incur a 20% late fee after 28 days and will be referred to a debt collection agency. All costs associated with collection of debt will be charged to the customer.
13. Warranty service calls where no fault found will incur a service fee.
14. Warranty service calls will happily be attended to during office hours. Customers who require after-hours service calls will be required to pay an after-hours call-out fee.
15. All garage door installations and replacements will take place in the morning. Start time is usually sometime between 8:30am and 9:30am. Requests for later installations will not be accepted.
